What does Buyer Brokerage mean to the Seller?
Beginning in August, 2024, Real Estate Agents are REQUIRED to have any and all Buyers sign a Buyer Brokerage Agreement BEFORE showing the Buyer any properties. The terms of the agreement may vary, but for simplicity, the Buyer agrees to pay the agent if the Buyer purchases a property. Again, there are many scenarios, but an agent CAN NOT show a property without first acquiring the signature of the Buyer on a Buyer Brokerage Agreement.
